Rules of Engagement...

Fun is the priority. Kayaking and canoeing is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature. Many people are joining this group and do not have their own equipment. There will be one event scheduled each month starting in May to September where renting equipment will be offered.

Members are encouraged to post their own trips on the message board and invite others to meet up and join in the fun.

Trips should be posted as to how difficult they will be on a scale of 1 to 5, one being easy and five being strenuous. The time of the actual trip on water should also be estimated.

At our first meeting, we discussed the problems that arise in a world concern about being sued. It was made clear that we are all adults and have to take responsibility for our own well being. It was agreed, that signing a release of liability is a fair concept. A sample of the policy is posted on our Message Board. Please take a few minutes and read it carefully.

This is for people who enjoy kayaking. Some of our trips are to places that rent kayaks...you must check the details to be sure.

Trips will be short and/or some overnights. (Fees will be based on associated costs).
