Well, you joined this group, you did so with the hopes of playing poker. There are other meet up groups that have successfully done these, so why not this group? People play poker for a multitude of reasons - to win money, for the challenge, to satiate their competitive spirit - others for the social aspect. This group consists of players from around the Hudson Valley and NW Connecticut. The group may elect to play cash and tournament style games. But the most important thing is having fun in a social atmosphere.

No professional poker players here. Just a bunch of friends (and future friends) who want to play poker.
