Much has been made of Gamification – or the process of using game thinking and mechanics to engage audiences – over the past two years. From fields as diverse as healthcare and education to luxury, CPG and publishing, organizations of all sizes are transforming the way we work, play and consume with the power of games. Behind the hype, debates and loads of VC funding, companies that embrace gamification are already seeing extraordinary successes, with employee and customer relationships forever transformed.

Driven by immovable demographic trends and the extraordinary failure of contemporary marketing, gamification in smart organizations is rapidly shifting from a nice-to-have to a core business strategy. Find out the secrets of leading organizations and the metrics, patterns and risks they’ve uncovered in this fast-paced, data rich keynote by author and designer Gabe Zichermann (@gzicherm).

I'm a newbie to this field, so for me it was excellent! Hoping to attend more sessions, where the nitty-gritties of game design are discussed - to bring a game to market and make it successful is very challenging from what I hear. I'd like to hear more about how successful companies do it, and what their success metrics are.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
