It was good to meet such a diverse range of people, all with a common interest. I'm delighted we had such a spread of ages, professions and skills, and it seemed by the constant chatter, that everyone had a good time! I've started planning the next one already, and will soon be posting dates and location. As mentioned, I'm looking for some volunteers to do a few talks and one suggestion is to get a proper format together, so again, please do share your thoughts. Thanks again!

Lets now all make the effort to keep the impetus up and attend further meetings.
The meeting was exactly what you said it would be, an introductory chat and meet up, very worth while I though. It was nice to see that some people had travelled quite a distance to support your venture.
It was good to see representation from a wide range of professionals, hobbyists and members of the public which I think is what community groups like this should be all about. If you attended the first meeting I suggest bringing a friend or colleague with you to the next meeting.

Ian ClearyNice to see such a great turnout. Jon did a top job of ringleading the event and it was very helpful to have a little introduction from/to everyone. Met some old friends and new, and shall continue to spread the word. Was a little pressed for time today, so shall try to talk to more folk at the next one :-)
