February Hull Digital / Hull Open Coffee MeetUp

I'm delighted to announce the 2nd Hull Digital / Hull Open Coffee MeetUp sponsored by Intrasource.
25th Feb - 6.30pm to 8.30pm
We have a dedicated venue for this meeting thanks to Intrasource, so a big thanks to them. We are going to start following a little bit more of a structured format from now on along these lines:
- Welcome and catch up with everyone
- Hull Digital News
- Speakers and questions
- Help session - anyone can ask a question and see if the group can help!
- Wrap up and chat!
I'm hoping this means we get more out of the time we have 
The speakers that have already confirmed are:
Paul Rhoades from Random Developments
"Credit Crunch Computing" 20 mins of suggestions on how to get
the best value from your computer systems in the credit crunch.
Steve Jagger from Quickline Communications
Alternative broadband solutions in the region.
UPDATE - Lucy from Channel 4's 4ip will be speaking too!
There are a number of others who have expressed interest, so will be speaking to them very shortly. I'm also delighted to report that we have been contacted by Yorkshire Forward, the regional development agency for the Yorkshire & Humber region. They are hoping to send a representative along from their Digital department. We'll be posting more info the Hull Digital Site very soon!
We are working on having some refreshments available for the meeting, (I'm speaking to a well known local provider who may be helping out)

We're really looking forward to seeing you all again and I hope some new faces. Numbers are limited at the moment and will potentially fill up quickly, so please only RSVP yes if you really can make it.

Also Richard don't let us put you off talking about KC and Karoo next month we look forward to it.

(There wasn't nearly enough time for just networking and catching up, so I'll build that into next month's MeetUp as a dedicated hour or so). I'm sure the coffee / tea / grub helped, and especially the donuts (some people seemed very keen on these) ;-) HUGE thanks to Paul, Steve and Lucy - our speakers. I found all the talks informative and held my attention - it's hard getting up front and presenting, so hats off to you all! Lastly, even BIGGER thanks to Intrasource.co

Wish we'd have had a bit of time at the end of the evening but we had to get off otherwise we'd have mingled a bit. Well done Jon it was great to meet you and some of the members tonight.
