Hello smile

I'm delighted to confirm that Adam Jennison is going to be our
third speaker on Monday 27th April at the next MeetUp.

His talk is entitled >>> "Search for the Golden Record"

Adam works at Hull City Council integrating large databases and
creating a golden record, also known in the real World as CDI/MDM.
For this he has to use a combination of techonlogies ranging from
VPNs, VLans, Server OS, BizTalk, 3rd Party software, Enterprise
database apps (SQLServer, Oracle etc), and XML.

Topics that he will be covering are going to be:
Problems of databases (DP Act, quality of data, duplication etc)
Technologies used in this project
Outcomes of the pilot project
Management Information
Completing tenders for councils - time frames!
Open Source/Free equivalents for data cleansing/integration

So, we have a great line up of speakers, and a top venue, thanks
again to Intrasource!

Don't forget to RSVP - many thanks!

PS Keep an eye out on the website for a post about the Digital
Britain Report - a few of us are going to be attending the
meeting next in Leeds, and so your feedback and comments
are needed!

Everyone is welcome, so if you plan to go, do tweet about it
or drop me an email!
