6 of us are riding, we have planned much of the route, made reservations for most of the lodging, we may be able to take one or two more people. This is a self supported ride, you bring your own bike, your do your own repairs, you find a bus or train if you can't keep up. It should be a beautiful ride more or less along the Danube, the first half is on bike paths the second half on local roads and highways. Each person pays their own food, transportation and lodging, after airfare you should budget about 1k and if things go really well you'll spend about half that, but be prepared to spend the full amount. Generally speaking rooms run about $80-$120 per night and we share rooms so splitting lowers the cost considerably.
