HARP Atheist outreach at OC Pride 2014 The purpose of this HARP event is to educate the public on atheist's views and to offer an alternative world view religion as well as make ourselves known.
We will have a table, a banner, signs, 1000 condoms to give out free as well as fliers on 7 reasons one should be an atheist, HARP business cards and free candy.
This event will positively supports that purpose. We welcome any and all other meetup groups or others who wish to either cross post this event or join us.
Come be part of a committed group who will be there with a table and signs. I will have pre-made signs and supplies to make your own signs.
Come spread the good news of having a dilution free mind come join us to do something humanistic, atheistic, and rationalistic for the OC Pride 2014!
Orange County Equality Coalition (OCEC) brings Orange County LGBT Pride to Orange County. OC Pride is a one-day festival honoring our LGBT and Ally culture through celebration, advocacy, community, and PRIDE.
The 2014 OC Pride Festival will take place Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 12:00PM to 10:00PM and returning to the streets of Downtown Santa Ana on 4th Street, between Broadway and Ross. This year’s theme: Pride is YOU!
Sorry, currently the OC Pride festivities do not include a parade, but that doesn’t mean they never will. We are exploring opportunities to expand OC Pride in the coming years and, hopefully in time, a parade will be possible in the future.
For the third year in a row, OC Pride will be absolutely free to the public! In order to keep this trend going, donations of any amount are encouraged.
Ample parking is available in the parking structures located at 3rd Street and Broadway, as well as 5th Street and Main. Limited street parking is also available in certain areas surrounding the festival.
OC Pride is dedicated to ensuring full access to all individuals. Anyone requiring assistance should visit our “Information Booth” during the event. Additionally, ASL interpreting services will be available for the deaf and hearing-impaired.
We are always looking for passionate, hard-working people to lend their time and talents to our organization. If you’re looking to lend a hand during the festival, assisting at one of our many fundraising events or joining the Pride Planning Committee, learn how on our Volunteers page.
Our deadline for this year’s applications has passed, but we welcome you to check back again next year!
