Odyssey of the Mind Team Meeting - Follow Up Day After Regional Tournament

OOTM Update:

The Regional Tournament is Sat, March 9. This meeting is to follow up. Will our Division 1 team go on to Nationals on April 6?

Whatever happens, we are proud of our OOTM teams!

HSGP has 2 Odyssey of the Mind Teams!

Primary & Division 1

The teams meet on Sunday mornings @ 10:00 in the kids' play room at HCC.

It isn't too late for your kids! Join us at the next OOTM team meeting this Sunday at 10:00 AM. (When there is a Sunday Speaker meeting on the same day, the doors will open at 9:00 for that. On Sundays with no other event going on, the doors will open just before 10:00.)

Odyssey of the Mind incorporates the STEAM initiative providing challenges to students where the arts, math, science, engineering, and technology as well as writing skills are needed to solve the long-term problems. 21st Century Skills are reinforced while meeting Common Core Curriculum standards. Even NASA understands the connections for the future by sponsoring a problem every year.

Odyssey of the Mind After School – non profit organization's Mission: To promote creativity, divergent thinking, team-work skills, and self-confidence in youth by providing them the opportunity to participate in the Odyssey of the Mind Program in an after-school setting which requires the use of the Humanities when demonstrating team solutions. http://odysseyofthemindafterschool.weebly.com

Great after-tournament meeting! The kids took a bow in front of the assembled Humanists, after being congratulated for winning the regional tournament yesterday. On to State!
