From our president, Anne Mardick:

We are changing the date/time of our monthly meeting in order to take advantage of a unique opportunity to hear from a wonderful speaker from Washington, D.C., Jason Torpy, President - Military Association of Atheists & Freethinkers and Freethinkers (MAAF), a national non-profit organization which is building a community for atheists and humanists in the military.  He is also on the national board of the American Humanist Association and the Secular Coalition for America. And as I’m sure you’ll recall, the Secular Coalition for America is the parent organization of our very own Secular Coalition for Arizona of which FFRF – Valley of the Sun is a proud member!
