Come help us plan the HSGP Holiday Shopping Bazaar, our Fall Fundraiser!
***2nd Planning Session***
On Sunday, Oct 6 at 12:30 (after the Sunday Speaker Meeting) we will gather to have a 2nd meeting to plan our Holiday Bazaar fundraiser. Please come and join in, even if you did not attend the 1st planning session.
We will finalize our plans for donations, vendors, volunteers. We’ll also map out a timeline of tasks and responsibilities – so please start thinking of what those items and deadlines are so that when we discuss, we will have all perspectives and won’t forget anything.

Here is what we need to plan: we will be hosting a Community Holiday Bazaar on Saturday and Sunday, Nov 23rd and 24th from 10 am to 4 pm both days.
Since this event is only about 3 months away, we need to finish our organizing and solidify who our volunteers will be and start inviting vendors.
We need your marketing and fundraising ideas, your volunteer commitments, and your donated items of value.
Do you have ideas about vendors and artisans who would want to rent a table for $20? Do you want to sell your own crafts or artwork (and pledge to donate all or part of the proceeds to HSGP)? Do you have ideas for a kids activity? Or do you have any other ideas that would fit into our fundraiser?
By the way, this Holiday Bazaar will be a separate occasion from our Winter Solstice Party happening in December. This year, the Winter Solstice event will be more of a celebration than a fundraiser.
