Humanist / Father's Day Family Picnic!

Join us for a fun family Picnic on Father's Day at HSGP!


• Hot dogs

• Salads

• Crudites (raw veggies)

• Lemonade

• Watermelon with seeds

• Ice cream

Attendees may bring other beverages or food to share.


11:00 Lunch

12:00 Watermelon seed spitting contest in parking lot

12:30 Water play in yard:

• BY0 water weapons (on-going throughout the afternoon if adult is in attendance)

• water balloon contest, seeing how far a balloon can be tossed to a teammate

1:00 Children of all ages can draw an outline of themselves and color it. Large pieces of paper and drawing implements provided. This is done on concrete next to the storage house. Need popup for shade.

1:30 Cookie decoration: sugar cookies provided. Frosting in different colors and decorating tools provided.

2:00 Family scavenger/map reading hunt. Maps provided with clues to objects or things of note that can be found in the neighborhood. Area Rio Salado south to 6th st. Cherry to Vineyard on the west.

2:30 Inside activity. Do you know your humanists? Categorize famous humanists into author, actor, politician, etc. No cell phones!

Ice cream sundaes to be available after/during the inside activity.

Cost: $5 Individual; $15 Family

*Kathy can use some volunteers if you are inclined to help out!*
