ZAZU @ First Friday Arts Walk. The whole scene is electric and great fun!

Humanities Project Outing at The Nash

ZAZU is: Mike Fowler – solo guitar, Jeff Quamo – clarinet, Ryan Vance – rhythm guitar, Steve Douglas – bass

Formed in Jan of 2005 by Steve Douglas of Artists in Rhythm to carry on the tradition of Django Reinhart, originally called Musette, we added Larry Czarnecki in 2007 for Tlaquepaque concerts and changed the name to ZAZU….We have been featured at community fairs, wine fests, Sedona International Film Festival, concerts, private parties, Jazz on the Rocks scholarship concert series and civic fundraising affairs. We released a debut double CD, The Soul of Paris in July of 2009 with exquisite photography and graphics, lively playing by the three of us and explosive stylings of Allen Ames on violin.
