Work Party!

Work Party!

The main task is to mount the projector to the ceiling, but there are other things to do as well.  We'll stick with things that can be done within the air conditioned envelope.

Even if you cannot help out for the entire event, come for as long as you can. Drink some coffee (iced?), socialize, accomplish something, and have fun doing it!

Work Parties are always fun. Come on out and help our fellow Humanists to improve our home. We don't actually work that hard, and participants get a feeling of satisfaction, enjoying the improvements all the more.

I thought that we were going to pay a professional to do this job. Did we already burn through all of the A/V funds?

      Sometimes free costs more.

We had competent help. Plus 6 other people to give advice and drink coffee.

Yes, there are events that are held in Glendale, as well as in Mesa. Simply check the event entry to know where an event will be held.

Will make every effort to be there. Coming up from Maricopa, mind you.

Sometimes. But, in this case, having the electrical work done meant that the projector had to be mounted immediately. We have either to mount the projector, or make arrangements to borrow a projector, or do without a projector.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
