Annual Winter Solstice Celebration

Annual Winter Solstice Celebration!

December 21, 2013, 17:11 GMT is the astronomical event known as the solstice. The date and the time are arbitrary numbers, but the physical event is real and measurable.

Let's mark this event with a feast event at our community center. Please bring comestibles to share or $5 to $10 per person depending on your appetite.

There will be entertainment for the young and young-at-heart. The party starts at 5 PM.

We had a great time - everyone was very chatty and there were prizes - Rebecca Beltran did a super job organizing that part.

There will be people around at the very least until 8 PM and if it is going strong we'll keep the doors open until 10.

      They don't provide babysitting, though.

We provide other children. If you have enough children in one place at a time they play with each other. Please bring children!

Would have loved to come, but have a family birthday command performance.

Arlie and I are attending the Solstice gathering. 2 people should have been added to the total list. Am not sure but I think it counted us as 3. Hope not. See you there. Only 2 of us.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
