Inquiring Minds: The Morality of Wealth

Event: Inquiring Minds

Topic: The Morality of Wealth

Host:   Kevin Moriarty

Does having substantially more money than others obligate a person to spend the money in a certain way?

Are rich people less ethical?

Is there a difference for people who "earn" their money vs people who inherit or win it?

In our society success = money, every business, every job, every school, every organization has money as either its primary or secondary consideration.

Does concentrating wealth help or hinder human development?

Can you be a good person and be rich?

Kevin, many of the concepts were relevant and interrelated; however I left before the closure of the discussion and would like to have heard the concluding thoughts on the solutions (if any) that Steve brought up earlier in the discussion (i.e,. "social movements). Thanks.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
