Nathan's talk was moving. What he lived through is unbelievable, though more than one person in the audience could relate. I'm so glad he was able to come to AZ and share with us.

This was great. Thank you for organizing this!

this was an impressive talk emphasizing the evil of accepting ideas on faith. Nathan phelps was rare individual who was able to throw off his childhood brainwashing. I wonder, if as an adult, he ever confronted his hateful father.

This will be my first meetup with this group - is there a ticket for entry? Is my name on a will-call list? Or is it a free-for-all?

Thanks - I was a litle concerned due to the "print ticket" button under the meetup heading, and I'm driving from Cave Creek.

While there is no ticket required for this event, the "print ticket" feature is pretty neat. It just gives you something to print out with all the info on it.

Urgent--apparently you must enter the zip code to your gps search, or you may be directed to a private residence (yikes!). The zip code is[masked]

This is not our event. It is free. I think it will be very well attended. It's an auditorium, I believe, which holds 350 people. Most likely just chairs. People who want to meet somewhere afterwards will have no trouble getting in with an interesting group of folks for coffee or drinks or dinner.

I retrieved my son this week, is there a place for him to play at this facility? Will other children be present?

    January 3, 2013

    • Richard D.

Hi Brian. I don't know if other children will be present but I'm fairly certain that there is no play area available. I hope you come anyway. :)

I kind of think there won't be too many young children there, if any.

Where would we meet? I'm not sure if we will be able to find one another at this event to begin with.

There will be a lot of people from different and overlapping groups. Some will undoubtedly wish to go somewhere afterward, while others will toddle off home. I think it will be easy to hook up with an interesting group of people to chat with afterwards.

Perhaps we can meet for coffee afterwards to discuss our thoughts about the presentation?
