An evening with Ramsey Clark

Hear Ramsey Clark and Sara Flounders discuss urgent current Issues relevant to: "THE PEOPLE'S RIGHT TO KNOW!"  We'll discuss government secrecy, NSA Eavesdropping, Drone War Programs, Targeted Assassinations, The Patriot Act, and the possibility of a new cold war with Russia.

Ramsey Clark is former United States Attorney General, who testified recently at three trials against U.S. drone wars. He was quoted as saying, "These [drone attacks] are CIA summary executions. It’s a violation of International law."

Sara Flounders is Co-Director of the International Action Center, and is committed to building broad-based grassroots coalitions to oppose U.S. wars abroad while fighting against racism and economic exploitation of workers here at home. She is co-author and editor of 10 books on U.S. wars. With every mobilization or campaign, the IAC strives to draw from the leadership, connect the struggles, and bring together communities of color, women, lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, youth and students, immigrant and workers' organizations in order build a progressive movement for social justice and change.

Ramsey Clark supervised the drafting and played an important role in the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and Civil Rights Act of 1968, and has led many progressive activism campaigns, including opposition to the War on Terror, and opposed to both the 1991 and 2003 Persian Gulf Wars, as well as the war in Afghanistan, war on Libya, Syria and the enormous new danger of war with Russia.

Mr. Clark is the founder of the International Action Center. He is a recipient of the Gandhi Peace Award, UN Human Rights Award and the Peace Abbey Courage of Conscience Award.
