President of the Humanist Society of WA

Lutz Elber has resigned from the position of President from 24 April. Vice President Des Young takes over as Acting President until the AGM which will take place between July and September this year.
We in the Committee are sad to lose Lutz and grateful for the effort he has put in on behalf of the Society. We know he will be keen to participate in activities in the future and we look forward to him making a contribution to our work and aims in the future after a break and a rest.
The change over will not impede the progress the Society is making and there will be further events for members to participate in. In fact the next thing on the Agenda is the Rally in Support of Equality in Marriage which will take place at Stirling Gardens on 11 May. There are further details on this posted on the Discussion Board and we urge all who can attend to do so.
