HCCO Arcade Night

Would you like to experience a 1980’s inspired arcade?  Good news, you can do that on March 2 at 6:30 pm! Susanne will be hosting a get together at The Gaming Grid located at 2442 Advanced Business Center Dr, Columbus, Ohio 43328.  All of the games are set to free play, so play as much as you want for the time we are there! The door is on the back side of the first building on the east end. Make sure to bring your own snacks and soda. There are a couple of vending machines and some seating. Attendance is limited to 20 attendees, so RSVP early! Questions, reply here with any questions, so our host can promptly answer.

This was a lot of fun. Thanks again to our hosts! My family would definitely attend in the future. We would probably come to an event like this 3 or 4 times a year. I think there is room for more people. Waiting your turn was part of the arcade experience back in the day, and having more people attend will help lower the cost per person for future events. There were plenty of games and many are multiplayer. Plus, you never get 100% attendance of people who RSVP. Some of us did sit around and talk and it's nice that there's an area with tables and chairs where you can eat or visit.

That was completely delightful! Savannah said it best, "These old games are SO MUCH BETTER! They are more conTROL-ly." They are. Wish we'd gotten their earlier. Next time, we will. ALL THE GREATEST GAMES.

If anyone gets lost call the Gaming Grid at (614) 230-4338. Just a reminder the Sign is out in front of the building by the urgent care office but the entrance to the archade is on the back side of the first building.

According to the website it looks like the room is rented for a period of time, and that all games are set to "free okay" for the duration. Would that be divided up amongst the attendees?

    February 12, 2013

    • Susanne

I have it booked for us. No cost to anyone.

Is this for adults only, or can we bring our 12 and 13 year old? We all love video games and this event sounds awesome.
