Bike Path Social Cycling

  • This location is shown only to members

NOTE: We'll only be doing this if the weather permits.  Cold (65 and below, and/or raining) and it will be cancelled for this month.  If it would help to have it earlier (when it's likely to be warmer, let me know).

Join us for Cycling on Sunday! We'll be cycling from Bexley to Three Creeks Park.

We'll start here : Kroger parking lot, intersection of E. Main and Alum Creek Dr.

Google Map Link

The route is to head across Main Street from the Kroger parking lot, onto the Alum Creek trail, head south past Three Creeks to where the path meets up with the Blacklick trail, and then return.

Depending on the experience levels of those joining, we may break up into two groups.  One for faster riders, and another for more casual cyclists.

This will be an extended ride, so children are welcome but they are under the direct supervision of their parents.

Don't forget to bring water, sunscreen, and tire patch kits for tires. If you have questions, please email me here or call me at[masked] (home) or [masked].

NOTE: If you have suggestions for route extensions or alternate start points, please feel free to start a conversation here.  We may revise things if there's enough consensus.

Also, feel free to bring suggestions for locations of future rides, there's no reason to exclusively stick to the Alum Creek trail either.

I'm in the south east corner of the lot, between the Kroger gas and the car wash.

I'm experiencing too much grad student guilt to take time off today. Have fun, the weather looks amazing!

Even if it's a little under 60 degrees, it's not supposed to rain Sunday. So let's do this!

Do we know the total miles for this route?

    March 26, 2013

    • Jamie N.

It has been around 22-25 miles round trip, at a fairly leisurely pace so it doesn't seem even that long. We are open to going further or shorter depending on the group. Though the weather's trending towards being incompatible, I won't call it until Thursday - just in case Ohio pulls a total switcheroo.

Unless both the weather and my getting back from a weekend trip go just as they should.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
