Humanist Monthly Program: Veganism and Humanist Values

Our monthly program is a lecture or discussion on topics of interest to humanists! Join us at 12:30 for pizza.

Sarah Moglia, local atheist and vegan activist, will be discussing why humanists specifically should be concerned with veganism. Sarah will primarily discuss the ethical issues relating to animal rights and environmental concerns, but she will also touch upon other related topics. She will discuss the inherent problems involved with eating "local" or "ethically raised" animals, and will offer solutions for people who have humanist values. If you are interested in questioning the cultural norms and living your values, you should attend this talk.
