"Values and Meanings" Discussion and Potluck

  • April 19, 2014 · 2:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This is a discussion group for secular people to talk about our individual values and the kinds of meanings we find in our lives. The goal is to create a safe space to share, listen, and explore together without debating, arguing, or trying to convince others.

The topic for this discussion will be SOCIAL JUSTICE.

We will start with a potluck at 2:30pm and begin the discussion at 3:30pm. After introductions and an icebreaker will be a brief reading about the day's topic. Then we will go around the room to give everyone a chance to share their thoughts on the reading and topic. Following that will be a moderated discussion to respond to each other's individual thoughts and explore further everyone's perspectives.

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
