Central Ohio was the home of America's first minister to be tried for heresy, Bishop William Montgomery Brown [masked]). The Galion Historical Society has preserved the Brownella Cottage, Bishop Brown's beautiful house. The Brownella Cottage is located at 132 S. Union Street, Galion, Ohio at the intersection of S. Union St. and W. Walnut St. and will hold an open house on December 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Those wanting to tour together could meet at 1:00 p.m.
