Secular - Beginner's Kayaking Trip

Join us for a Beginners Kayaking trip on the on the Big Darby Creek!

Time: 10 am (office opens at 9 am please plan to spend 15 min getting signed up and picking out your canoe or kayak)

Where: Trapper John's Canoe Livery, Grove City, OH 43123

Rental Cost: $16/person Although we are meeting there as a group you are responsible for renting the equipment and following all safety procedures and instructions from the Kayak/Canoe rental company individually.  The plan is for everyone to enjoy an easy paddle down the river together.  We are planning to take the sampler trip that ends at a nice recreational area.

Additional Details: Call or Text Susanne, for any questions on this meet up [masked]).  Please call Trapper Johns directly for specific questions about the rentals, kids, pets, kayaks vs. canoes etc.  Contact Susanne for more info about how the group will try to coordinate everyone getting together for the day. Camping is available but not planned for this trip.  If there is enough interest, I'd like to do a trip several times this summer as people get more experience.

Completely off topic, but I have 15lbs of organic home grown potatoes to share. Most are purple, but a few are pink and gold :) I will bring them tomorrow if anyone wants some.

The water is running low, so I expect it to be a real easy trip. The hardest part will probably be getting stuck once in a while in the shallows :)

I will be bringing my own canoe this time. Anyone else bringing their own watercraft?

If you are interested in doing the longer trip this time let me know! There is a 3-4 hr trip that I'd like to take if most people want to.
