HCCO Bleed & Feed

It's time to give of yourself...donate blood and then replenish yourself by going out to dinner with fellow donors and freethinkers.

You can donate at the Carriage Place Donor Center from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, then dinner! This month, we'll be eating at Bravo Cucina Italiana.  (We'll have a reservation, don't worry!) If you cannot donate, come and cheer on those who can.

Learn more about who's eligible to donate, and make an appointment at the Red Cross website. We have been bringing so many people (awesome!) that they cannot accept walk-in donations from our group (sad!) - so PLEASE be sure you make your appointments!

Perfetto: whining during the bleed and wining during the feed!

Hey Lyz-I didn't qualify for blood today, so I'm leaving. I left a bag of coffee for you at the front desk though...maybe next time!

I have a store meeting at 6 so I won't be going to dinner. Also my appointment is for platelets and its at 2, so I should be finishing up when you guys are arriving. How are guys set on coffee? I can bring some with me tomorrow

We're ok on coffee, but it wouldn't hurt to have some if you have it - we've been going through a lot of it. I'm in at 3:30, see you then!

Just got our reservation at Bravo! for 7pm. I've told them 15 people - I hope you're all hungry! This might be the biggest Bleed & Feed we've ever had!

PS - If you're joining us at the restaurant for dinner, it's under the "Humanist Community of Central Ohio" or "HCCO."

When you make the appt it asks if you have a sponsor code, should we enter anything, or just make an apt without a sponsor code?

    October 22, 2012

    • Lyz L.

Nope, no sponsor code needed for this one. That's only if we host our own (which we're planning to do in December!)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
