Glad to have found a group that I might get around to attending. This Meet Up thing is new to me and I have joined a few groups but have yet to interact much in this forum or to attend any activities. I think Recovery from Religion is an important topic look forward to meeting group.

I know its technically right to say I must never suggest that we atheists should not debate religion w religious people, and my family is mortified when I mention religion is bogus & they cautioned me never to debate it, & I was socialized to become uncomfortable whenever someone said anything against religion or Judaism & I will not attend my brother's son's bris in November or any other bris but part of my brain did think I had to do all of Judaism unless I argued & proved it is a fraud.
