Booth at Grand Junction Farmers Market

Are you interested in helping grow the local nonreligious community? Would you like to help our valley learn more about Humanism and all the great things Humanists Doing Good has been up to? We'll be heading back to the Grand Junction Farmer's Market on August 1st to set up our booth. We'll have posters showing our past events and information from the American Humanist Association. We are seeking volunteers to answer questions, engage with the public and to help set up and take down our materials for the event. New volunteers are always welcomed and we can pair you with more experienced members of our organization for a shift. This also provides a great opportunity for new volunteers to meet other members of our group. Our participation in events like this is a major portion of our community outreach for the year and helps spread awareness of the nonreligious community. Please contact us if you are willing to volunteer or if you have additional ideas for our booth. We can accept donations, but will not be selling merchandise at this event.

If you have a volunteer shirt to wear for this event, please do so. If you do not, we may be able to provide one for you for the duration of the event.

Notes: Parking is available behind the Avalon, but it is paid parking and enforced until 5:00 pm. Free parking is available at the parking structure on 3rd street on the night of the market.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
