Movie Night: Derren Brown's Apocalypse

What would you do if you thought the world was about to end? Join us as we watch real world illusionist/hypnotist, Derren Brown, dupe one man into thinking a meteor strike has devastated mankind and brought about the end of the world. Only lethal infected people now roam the land on the prowl for a handful of survivors.

Will such an experience help this "survivor" to value his own life more and take less for granted or will his reaction be something entirely different? Is there reason to question the entire production as possibly being a massive hoax actually being played on the audience? Come and watch this controversial social experiment and let us know what you think. Zombies, explosions, hypnotism, British accents and more... what more could you want?!

This will be our first video night at our new location and it will be shown on the large projector screen. You are welcome to bring food and drinks to  enjoy during the program. We will use any remaining time for discussion.

Hi, if I'm the only other one signed up to see this, Jesse, besides your family, you can cancel. Just shoot me a comment back and let me know by 5. See you on Sunday for the Paleo Hike and Snooks Bottom Picnic.

Zombies, explosions and British accents... all things unappealing to me. Thanks but no thanks.

Haha, fair enough. The actual point of the video is exploring the reaction of a man who is duped into believing the world as he knows it is ending. It's basically a social experiment using tactics that we probably couldn't get away with doing in the U.S.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
