Humanists Doing Good will be having Daniel Suelo speak in Grand Junction on July 19th at 10 am in the Garden Room.
Suelo is a simple living adherent who stopped using money and has been called "the most famous homeless person." He is a thoughtful man who graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder and has served in the Peace Corps. He's held standard jobs before completely swearing off money in the fall of 2000 and giving up his life savings. He has lived ever since without receiving or spending money. This choice has provided him with a sense of peace and a lifestyle that many envy. He currently lives part-time in a cave near Moab, when he is not wandering the country.
Suelo has been featured in The Guardian, The Huffington Post, Details, the BBC, the Denver Post and on television shows like The Moaning of Life with Karl Pilkington.
We will have the opportunity to listen to Suelo speak about his chosen way of living and will also be able to ask questions. We are quite certain that everyone will find Suelo to be an intriguing and fascinating individual with many unique experiences to share. Guests are welcome.
