Habitat for Humanity

As many of you may know, Habitat here in Providence has been undergoing some tough economic times and administrative changes, so we have not been able to do our regular builds. That situation changed today when I finally got us a confirmed date for March 22. From there we will re-establish a regular build schedule and get this project back on track.

The location of the build has yet to be determined but I will put up an address as soon as I get one.

As far as volunteers go, the more the merrier, and I'm sure March will provide beautiful weather for a build.

Thank you for your patience, you guys rock.

First time volunteers need to go here: (but I've heard there may be website issues so don't sweat the forms and just show up at the build on March 22nd.)

Hope to see you there!

Do people bring lunch? Is it convenient to get take out near by?

This is a new location, so we don't know. Often the HRI group members leave the site together to grab some food.

How long does this session run? I've never done this before. Curious to get more details ...

Unfortunately, I have a special tour to give that morning on the Old Colony & Newport Railway (150th anniversary of the train to Newport). Oh well.

As far as I know, there are no builds going on right now. Steve, is this actually happening this Saturday?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
