A New Open Space Conservation Project needs help

There is a new Open Space Conservation, Canoeing and Fishing Area being developed in West Warwick along the Pawtuxet River! This Saturday, November 19, we will be completing a perennial garden and doing other plantings on this property overlooking the river. We really need some help from volunteers to make the project successful. Please join us for a few hours on Saturday to get your hands dirty and have some fun! WHEN: Saturday, November 19, 2011 TIME: 8:30 AM to 4 PM or as long as you can stay. Lunch/snacks provided. WHERE: Veteran's Square Conservation Area at the intersection of Rte 117 (Centerville Rd.) and Main Street in West Warwick. (Take Route 117 West off of Route 95; 10-15 minutes to the site from this exit) Parking across the street at Roch's Market, 1475 Main St # 1, West Warwick, RI This is a community service eligible project.

Hi Steve I know this is a past project, but are you planning on having any like this in the future such as beach clean ups etc? Sometimes I work Saturdays, but I have some free as well. I'd be interested in learning more.

We did a bang up job. Great effort, and our work really was appreciated.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
