Expanded education....classes on humanism and all it entails for all ages. Teachings on kindness, non-judgement of others and expanding narrow, pious ideologies. I am polically very progressive; socialistically inclined and believe that education is the key for people who are unable to think rationally on their own. illness, gun ownership, and other taboo subjects teaching reality vs fear, paranoia and illogical religious teachings. I believe if folks have a safe format they would surprise us with how they actually think if given the chance. Scenarios would have to be developed by members of the humanism group. I have a friend in Hawaii who has done this successfully as a resource person. For a lond time I wanted to return to the much more enlightened island paradise but the circumstances of my life have led me to stayng in the Northeast, where I grew up but left when I was 21 to experience the world. I have a few good ideas for reaching/teaching folks in their neighborhoods.
I am a retired nurse anesthetist who spent my entire career in Honolulu Hawaii. My avocation is an actress/singer. Now in R.I., looking for open-minded, critically thinking adults who want to improve the world with love and compassion.
