Farmer's Market Crawl

  • Nov 24, 2012 · 9:00 AM

Not everything can be hunted, fished, foraged, or grown or raised in our suburban yards.

Fortunately, we are lucky to have so many local farms and farmer's markets operating year round.

The idea is to carpool, meet like-minded people, and have fun together as well as to buy, cook, and preserve what's local and in season.

Requires at least three people (a car load) to sign up or Meetup will be cancelled.

Please comment if you are willing to be a driver, which markets you'll visit, and your desired point of origin where the others should meet you. Everyone can then email those people and form groups based on their location and desired markets.

To accommodate different objectives and schedules, the target amount of time at each market should be 30 -45 minutes.

Everyone is expected to share gas expenses.

Let's see how it goes and modify in the future to meet our needs.
