Everything about this course was first class. Excellent organization, presentation, and environment. Ed, Lauren, and Susan did an outstanding job working with us and coaching us along. Thanks!

excellent class! I grew up shooting, and I still learned some things. Also its a great bargain. You get to shoot several different calibers & types of pistols for one low fee. Highly recommended.

Hey, I couldn't make it to this class but Mr. Ed is a very thorough instructor! (Well, maybe not as good as his wife, LuAnn) Just kidding! You really lucked out getting him as an instructor! Just don't ever try to break into their home for "garden" equipment!

Greetings Folks! Ed Poniatowski here and I will be your Instructor for this event. I'm glad you have all signed up to take the NRA Basic Pistol course on the 14th and 15th. For those of you who are familiar with firearms, this will be a good review. For those of you who are new to this, I want to congratulate you for your willingness to learn something new and maybe move out of your comfort zone. I promise you will all get your money's worth and have some fun! See you soon!

You do not need a permit to own any type of firearm in the state of Alabama. You do need to keep them unloaded in the trunk to transport them, since you do not have a pistol permit (which is really a permit to carry concealed).

If you have cases for them, case them. Put them in a duffel or backpack, throw it in the trunk, and head to larry's. The guys behind the counter are really busy on saturdays (open til 4pm) but any of them should be able to help you out.

What is written on them? You could just bring them by Larry's Pistol and Pawn on north parkway, the guys there are knowledgeable and helpful.
