Cross Country Race in Hyd University

Who organized?
Shay Mandel

15-20 km of cross country race, to be completed in a time of one hour to two hours.
The terrain will be a combination of roads, single treks and doubles, some technical stuff and a lot of great views.

It will be fun - even if you don't win, and it will be very casual - this is just a preparation race for a bigger event we want to do in September on the same course.

The route will be partially marked by Wednesday March 18, and will be fully marked on Friday March 27.
Several rides are held to learn the course before the race - they are all on the site.
Participants should complete an introductory lap before the race - preferably before the race day, but can also be done early morning before the race, but must clear the race course by 7:30.

Schedule:
6:30-7:30 Registration and numbers distribution.
7:00-7:45 Warm up. Warm up can be performed anywhere in the university campus. Riding on the trail of the race after 7:30 is prohibited.
7:50 Report at Start line
8:00 Flag off
10:00 Winners Announcement

Participation fee:
General Public: Rs. 200.
Paying club members and University staff: Rs. 100. University staff proof is required to avail this price.
Students and riders under 18 years of age: Free of charge. Student ID/Age proof ID is required to avail this price.
This payment is for covering the costs of the race, including trail marking and building, supplying drinking water for participants and more.

    Notice that the race flag off time has changed to 8:00 instead of 7:00 - this will allow more time for warm up and registration.
