Let's reinforce the basics and welcome new members by reviewing core concepts and sharing a group meditative practice.

LOCATION: We are welcomed by the founder of (Pause) Beauty Boutique, Michelle Palmer, at 991 Bloor Street West (Toronto) who brings loving awareness to her work with the outer body just as we will be endeavouring to cultivate it within. All attendees are eligible for discounted rates at this simple yet stylish salon on Bloor Street West.
All levels welcome - Ongoing practice of self-hypnosis (strategic meditation) to ensure your thoughts and imagination are supporting rather than sabotaging your goals. It’s easy once you know how, and you can do it anytime. The natural, meditative techniques of self-hypnosis are perfectly safe and relaxing: self-hypnosis (and all hypnosis is self-hypnosis) can be likened to a mental massage.
In this interactive workshop, you can share your thought process aloud or do the work privately in your head – it’s up to you! Many people find these tools effective in stress management and shifting emotional or behavioural patterns, achieving goals, and enhancing performance at pretty much anything. Topics include but are not limited to
-How to calm the chatter of the conscious mind
-How to optimize your thoughts and imagination
-Guided strategic meditation for the group in which individuals can 'fill in the blanks' mentally for a customized session.
Cost: $12 in advance (by midnight of preceding day) or $20 at the door (no one turned away for lack of funds if space permits, just speak to me at least one day before). All workshop participants are eligible for $10 off of a private session. Advance payment can be via interac or paypal to the email address below, security question could be "what is this for?" and the answer would be "meetup" without quotation marks.
This includes 90 minutes of hypnosis consultation and facilitation roughly as follows:
-15 minutes of introductions and discussion of individual questions and obstacles/goals
-30 minutes learning and discussion self-hypnosis principles
-30 minutes of guided practice (i.e., group session)
-15 minutes concluding discussion
All participants receive a printed infosheet & worksheet, but you might also like to have a personal notebook.
