    This is the batter. It is the consistency of uncooked cream of wheat or thick chocolate milk. I checked with our local Ethio place on the recipe...and the link to the most aunthetic-seeming recipe I am using is here: http://www.food.com/recipe/authentic-injera-aka-ethiopian-flat-bread-96980
