Lessons with Jim Electric Cowboy

*no cover before 9:00.   (After 9:00, no cover for women, $5 for guys.)

*free lessons with Jim Weber.  Each week, he teaches a different dance, rotating through Two Step, Progressive, Waltz, and sometimes East Coast Swing.

*no partner or dance experience needed

The class lasts about an hour, starting with the basic steps, then progressing on to more challenging moves with variations.

Stay after class and practice what you've learned.

It is a good idea to wear comfortable leather soled shoes. Tennis shoes and flip flops make it more difficult to do the steps.

Support the venue: In exchange for free cover and free lessons please purchase beverages and don't forget to tip the bartender.

When you enter the club, there will be a bar between you and the dance floor.  Go to the right of that bar, and our group usually sits at the high-top tables between that bar and the DJ booth.  If you have trouble finding us, ask Jim (the instructor) and he can point out Gail or Stephen or Helen.

The bar opens at 7:30, and the lessons start very soon after that.

You are welcome Jim is a great teacher. I always enjoy his lessons, too. Now you can try some of the other lessons to get a feel for the variety of dances.

I agree! Rosie taught me a little basic progressive. I really like that and I would like to learn some two step half step, at least in think that's what they called it! Ha

Nichelle, Helen did reply and we looked for you but couldn't see you anywhere. I was there until almost 10:30 and Helen and Stephen were there and had a sign on the table.

I have a young man coming tonight,a very basic beginner--he'll need a lady who already knows what she's doing to help get him started.
