Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain

  • Sep 18, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

NOTE ON LOCATION: This meetup will be in a private home in Nashville. I'll send details a couple days before the meetup.

From Wikipedia:

The book is noted for its colorful description of people and places along the Mississippi River. Set in a Southern antebellum society that had ceased to exist about twenty years before the work was published, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is an often scathing satire on entrenched attitudes, particularly racism.

Didn't we read Huck Finn a couple years ago?

I'm currently in grad school and have a ton of school stuff to read, but I'm going to make a real effort to read this and show up since I surprisingly never read this book at any point for school. I've heard it's a great read though. Can't wait to meet y'all!
