Could you think of anything more exciting or romantic than a group of happy people carrying torches trekking thro the forest on a full moon nite. WOW!!! just the thought of it brings a smile on my face. So friends join in.

    Hi,

My name is Kush and I am working on the conservation of Delhi Ridge with the environmental NGO, Toxics Link. As part of this project we made a page to keep people updated of what all goes on in Sanjay Van.

I shared your moonlit walk experience with our followers and got a good response. Please keep us updated on your walks in the future. To raise awareness we need to organize various workshops, events and walks in Sanjay Van. Maybe we do something together.

It was fantastic event. All thanks to organisers, looking forward for such events in future.
In the Last felt greatly delighted making people view sky objects through Telescope, which could become possible only because of slow movers that gave enough time to others to go through sky ;-)

The trek ended with everyone gazing thro' Vijay Naru's telescope to see jupitar, venus, mars. But the evening did not end here. After everyone said their goodbyes, 8 hungry people decided to drive to the JNU 24 x 7 dhabba for a lip smacking khanna.
THANK YOU ALL for your participation and making the event such a grand success.
Special thanks to R.Jain, Sathya, Joe for their recee without which we would have been lost; thank you Alok for the delicious cake & appreciation for all those who brought along the musical instruments without which the jamming session would have been incomplete.

    77 HAPPY MEMBERS
Friends, we made history yesterday and broke a record of sorts. Maximum participation ever in any Happy Grp.Event. There is just one word 'WOW'. Next time lets break this very record.
The overwhelming response was just exceptional. The moonlit trek transcended everyone into a different world of euphoria. Full moon above you, under the starrey sky; surrounded by Sanjay van forest; sitting on a rocky plateau with the city's twinkling lights in the skyline - 77 happy people celeberated Cacai birthday with a jamming session - flute, drum, chan channa and lots of singing and dancing & Antakshari - and please don't forget the yum chocolate cake with candles for our new member CACAI. There was lots of enthusiasm & exuberance from the new comers/first timers. The return trek was even more exciting and romantic since the moon was clearly visible in the sky glimmering its light peeking thro the dense forest foliage.

Friends, don't let the rain during the day in some areas of Delhi worry you. As long as it does not rain on our trek route (Mehrauli-Qutab area) in the evening ( 6 - 10 p.m.)
THE EVENT IS ON and even if it drizzels slightly - it makes the event that much more exciting - remember 'Trek to the JNU caves'....what fun we all had....so come on friends no last minute drop outs just because of a little rain/drizzel

    2 · March 29, 2013

knowing how the rain and drizzle did not affect the JNU trek, I m sure its going to be fun as well..
