We'll figure out logistics as the event approaches. :)

Great event. Lots of variety. I feel the event may have outgrown itself.

I was there with a friend, I did't think anyone from the group was going to be there. I had a good time, but would have liked to have met you all as a group! Maybe next time!

It was crowded, but fun with a lot of good food to eat! Looks like Pepsi had a monopoly on the drinks at the vendors. Even the coke products at the store in town was gone in the smaller sizes :( good music outside!

That's good, glad you two enjoyed it. I enjoyed the weather and the Mill. I usually try to visit YS two or three times a year, this was my second time out this summer. I probably won't go on a street fair day again, it's just too crowded to enjoy for me. Years ago it was much smaller. Too many people know about it now.

Street Fair is awesome. It's a shame none of us (including me) was willing to organize an event here....or several events. It is too big and too crowded for 30 people to try to stay together. Maybe in Spring we could have 3-4 small groups.

I'm giving up too. Too much of a madhouse for me I like yellow springs better when there's nothing going on. Gonna stop at the mill to eat and head home, would love some youngs ice cream but I'm sure it's crazy there,

I really wanted to come to the fair but I live in Troy and didn't want to make the drive if I was going to be wondering around not being able to find anyone else. Never been to a meet-up yet. I will come to the next event as long as there is a meet-up time and place.

I just got here. I'm stopping at the visitors center first. I'll check again on here to see if anyone's still here before walk up town.

That's what I was wondering about I've never attended any meet ups yet, I thought there would be a time and place set up. I'm still at home trying to decide whether to go or not. A hard thing about being one is being the only one to get things done. I still need to tear down the garden, stain the front porch and get the pool ready for winter, not many nice days left and if I go I'm going to feel guilty about not staying home and working. Sigh

Just wondering if a decision has been made yet as to where everyone is meeting and what time. I like the idea of meeting at Youngs, I've never rode the shuttle before, always parked down in that grassy area off to the right but I once saw a side mirror broken off on someone's car in that lot.

I have never had a problem parking. The local Boy Scout troop operates a parking lot at the school. It costs a couple of bucks and is right in the heart of all the action.

I'll be there but I have a spinning class from 12-2:00, so I'll be there around 3:00. Would like to meet up with folks though.

Mike, Since I'd want a hot dog any way...sounds like a good deal! This past June fair, I parked along the trail on the grass.

You can park at Mills Lawn School...it's $5 and puts you right in the action. This year for your $5 you also to a coupon for a free hot dog. The money goes to the Boy Scout troop.
