Bike to Centennial Beach , North Delta to South Delta

  • May 28, 2014 · 6:00 PM

The weather is improving and warming up.  Its time to start bike riding.  We will start from North Delta and ride to Centennial Beach South Delta  (570 Boundary Bay Rd, Delta, BC V4L 1N2).

Its about 20 km one way.  Its usually takes about 2.5 hrs.  Most of the riding is on gravel trails thru Mud Bay area. We have to ride on the road for about 1km but its a quiet road leading to a parking lot area.  No hills on the trail.  Mountain bikes are preferred but a hybird can be used.  Not for road bikes.   I would like to keep this ride to intermediate riders but i will not abandon the last rider.

Great view of the ocean.  There is some wild life.

The riding will be weather depending .  I will cancel by 4pm the day of the ride if raining.

The only business in the area is below.  We can meet in front of the Golf Course and then proceed to our bike ride.

Delta Golf Centre

You can enter the area via hwy 99 or hwy 91 or hwy 10.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
