How many issues behind are you?

Depends on how you define 'behind'--just read the movie reviews of the one with the amazing White House rainbow cover. Still need to get to Talk of the Town and work my way forward---but am caught up on the cartoons.

Hi Steve--I started reading the New Yorker when my AP English teacher Mr. Harris, assigned our class a weekly reading of Pauline Kael's Current Cinema with the theory that reading good writing is a great way to teach aspiring writers how to write.
