Please feel free to spread the word around town about IANDS.  You can post this information on your facebook page, tweet the meeting info out on Twitter or forward it out to your email list, bring a friend (or a whole bunch of friends!) with you to a meeting, or just come along and join us on the second Wednesday of each month for information, education, and guest speakers who will talk about what NDE's teach us about death, the afterlife, and life itself.  We're quite lucky to have a supportive, knowledgeable, and well-rounded team of Santa Barbara Group Leaders who assist during the meetings, many of whom are Experiencers themselves, and the group's attendees never fail to amaze us each month with their stories, questions, knowledge of the topic, and friendly cameraderie.

We'll be looking forward to seeing you at our monthly meetings!  If you have the chance, check out the IANDS website (www.IANDS.org) for additional NDE/OBE/STE information. Please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions or would like to talk about the subject with me.  I am an Experiencer, having flat-lined for approximately 4-7 minutes during a medical procedure in 1987. I cherish my NDE as one of the most positive, life-changing, and wonderful experiences of my life and I enjoy helping to organize and lead the IANDS Santa Barbara group! We hope you'll join us!

      Hello Annette,

      July 17

    • Barbara B.

Sorry that you couldn't attend the July meeting, the speaker (Dianne Sherman) was really wonderful! Just want to alert you that our next local SB meeting will occur on Sept 3rd, as we will not be meeting in August because the IANDS Conference is being held in Newport Beach (Aug 28-31) this year and since it's relatively nearby, everyone is trying to get down to it for at least a day. More info about it is at www.IANDS.org, in case you're interested. The next IANDS Santa Barbara meeting will happen on Wed, Sept 3rd (we usually meet on the 2nd Wed of each month, which would have been Sept 10th) at Unity Church, 227 E. Arrellaga Street, at 7:00pm. Our guest speaker will be Jeff Olsen, who is one of the four keynote speakers from the IANDS Conference. Having experienced his NDE during a car accident which claimed the lives of his wife and infant son, Jeff had a truly amazing NDE. He wrote the books 'I Knew Their Hearts' and 'Beyond Mile Marker 80'. Hope to see you there!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
