I moved to Charleston a few months ago and realized there are tons of things I want to do here, but being new in town I can't always find people to do them with me. So, I thought about a meet.up group that I belonged to in Raleigh, NC and decided to create a branch of it here. The main purpose of this group is to get out and experience life. That might mean trying new things, old things, routine things, exciting things but no matter what we should all have fun! I have a rotating work schedule and tend to find myself with a lot of free time during the week, but no one to do anything with. So initially I will be planning a lot of weekday activities but hope (and encourage!) as the group grows other people will add input and want to be organizers planning their own activities. I also plan to have some group activities with the original IAW group in Raleigh, NC. So, if you are interested in trying new things, meeting new people, and pretty much experiencing the most life has to offer... or are just bored, have an adventurous spirit, and are looking for something to do... this is the group for you!
