We have started the IBD Series of 13 Lessons again!!  Don't miss them!

Lesson 4: Using Chart Patterns for Historical Precedent

This lesson will help you find winning stocks by comparing chart patterns of current stocks to those of stocks that have been big winners historically.  Chart patterns represent human behavior.  To paraphrase Mark Twain, "History may not repeat itself, but it certainly rhymes."

Kier McDonough is the founder and portfolio manager of brìgos capital management and has over 28 years of experience as an investment professional. Kier was also a workshop instructor for Investor’s Business Daily for three years, teaching their introductory and intermediate “How to Make Money in Stocks” seminars to individuals nationwide. He was recently profiled in How to Make Money in Stocks: Success Stories.

He will also talk about the market and examine charts of your stock picks.

Note: A link to the power point slides will be sent out to all who RSVP after each lesson.

Gurjeet, a good idea that Kier, Jeff and I have often suggested -- if you want to learn IBD methods for investing in leading growth stocks, you should buy William O'Neil's book "How to Make Money in Stocks." Also, you can read the chapter on the topic of the upcoming meeting to prepare. Finally, as I said in the meeting that www.investors.com has terrific info on IBD methods and stocks, and you can start you Investors Business Daily newspaper subscription there.

As always really good. One thing, you get the most out of the lessons if you have read the book.
