We are a movie club (founded in 1999) for lovers of Fantasy, Science Fiction, Mystery, and Horror Films. We are open to anyone who wants to have a good time socializing with other people who have the same interest in movies! The Imaginative Cinema Society meets the last Saturday night of each month at 5:30 at the Perry Hall Presbyterian Church, located at 8848 Belair Road (we are not affiliated with the church - we just rent the space for the movies!). Members are asked to bring in movies, and those present vote on which film to watch. After the viewing, we discuss and critique the movie. A small business meeting is held afterward, followed by a social period, where we discuss genre movies and TV shows that we have seen, upcoming events, and new movies coming to a theater near you! The ICS can help provide access to other organizations that cater to people with our interest in movies. The club will also organize special talks, outings to movie theaters, and information on conventions in the area. Our emphasis is on providing a congenial atmosphere for those who enjoy watching fantasy, science fiction, mystery, and horror genre movies. If this sounds like your kind of club, then come to a meeting and see what we're all about! If you'd then like to join the ICS, annual dues are $25 per person, $40 per couple (prorated).  Come to a meeting for free.  You will be glad you did!
