What Wilfred A. E. is saying about this Meetup Group

I was disappointed that so few of us Atheists and Scientists were present. Michael Ruse was surprizingly good, but I wish he had been more agressive with his opponent. Fazale Rana in his presentation asserted that his position on the issue was purely science driven. However in his answers to questions from the floor he revealed that he is an old world creationist based on belief in the judeo-christian bible, and along with Hugh Ross, picking and choosing those parts to accept literally or allegorically. I texted some very pointed questions, but the moderator from Biola Univ., the hotbed of Intelligent design in soiuthern California, ignored them. I am sure that Michael Ruse did not convince any of the old earth or new earth creationists present. It was after all a Biola event.
