Redlands Market Night
Humanist. I really believe that we need rules on how to treat each other and that each person is obligated to help their fellow beings. Atheist seems to hostile, agnostic unsure, but Humanist puts me with the rest of humanity.
Social interaction with other humans (not just my offspring and spouse and dogs.) That was the whole reason for going to church except they didn't want me around cause I didn't fit their mold.
I'm a Recovering Ex-Mormon. I don't think I ever really believed. Try telling that to your mother. Fortunately, I married someone a reluctant athiest and we've finally found a group that's just like us. Didn't even realize we were searching.
Everyone was open, friendly and non-judgmental. I could have been a conservative Christian and been welcomed (as long as I didn't try to preach to the others.) Great way to have the "Church" socialization without the guilt and rules. Because of our lack of "beliefs", my husband and I have felt distanced from others and are so happy we've found like minds to hang out with.
